L’antidote

I hadn't been to the restaurant before, but the new owners are fantastic! The setting, the brazier cooking, the fresh ingredients—everything is perfect. I love going there; it feels just like home.

A very pretty setting, unfortunately spoiled by the quality of the food and the lack of preparation in the kitchen. The charcuterie board, priced at €18, was very average. The prawns were completely bland, without any seasoning, and the rib-eye steak arrived cold. Another very regrettable point: the weight of this rib-eye steak was only revealed to us when the bill arrived. At €9 per 100g, we ended up paying €90 for two people, without having been informed beforehand. The worst part, however, was the side dishes. They were simply out of stock, as a table of 14 people had already ordered everything. There were only seven of us, with a reservation made two weeks in advance for 8 pm. All that was left was salad, priced at €4.50 per bowl, to accompany our cold rib-eye steak and bland prawns. Finally, a waiter came to ask us if everything was alright. After explaining our dissatisfaction, we received no response, no solution, and no gesture of goodwill. The bill was then coldly handed to us without any explanation or apology. In conclusion, despite a very pleasant setting, the experience was extremely disappointing. I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

L'Antidote is an excellent restaurant where the welcome is matched only by the quality of the cuisine. Everything is fresh and subtle. The setting is pleasant, especially the terrace, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you're passing through Ollioules, stop by; you won't be disappointed.

We booked the entire Antidote restaurant for our wedding on August 24, 2024, and we want to thank Valérie. From the aperitif to the starter, main course, dessert, and wine selection, everything was perfect and delicious. Our evening unfolded in a wonderful atmosphere.
